Pakistan based photographer ‘Syed Abulhasan Rizvi’, has shared with us his documentation of a typical fisherman’s routine in the largest city of Pakistan, Karachi. These fishermen toil hard each day from dawn till dusk, yet barely make enough to get by. They don’t have access to big fishing boats or modern equipment, they still rely on fishing nets cast by hands and the catch hauled off on bicycles at the end of the day. Their story is told in in these beautiful colourful photographs. Click on the photos to see larger versions and read more details about them. Also we urge you to visit Syed Abulhasan Rizvi’s portfolio on flickr to see the complete set.
